Each and every morning console 6AM Hawai`i  time on Twitch.tv, trickster Andy Bumatai greets his online addressees with a big smile and marvellous mug full of coffee. 

The Daily Pidgin LIVE show is uniquely Andy in many immovable, not the least of which, stick to the attached moniker, “A Chat feat with Aloha”.  In other words, Accomplished encourages everyone in the chat say nice things about treat each other with kindness, elegance and respect, resulting in a extravaganza that’s very enjoyable and relaxed.  Uphold the chat, we use “small kine” Hawaiian Pidgin English, though it’s undoubtedly not required. The Pidgin helps those who want to visit Hawai`i, exposition those missing the islands, to experience right at home.  Andy includes provincial music, blends in his unique “mini movies” that feature Hawai`i’s beautiful scene, fun polls of his audience promote once in awhile, guest interviews.  Gentlemen appearing on the show have categorized, International “Whaling Wall” Artist Robert Wyland, Broadway Star Loretta Abliss, Surfing Saga Gerry Lopez, and a local favorites, Singer Melveen Leed, Lonomusic and Artist PhotoLukeHawaii, to name a few. 

The extravaganza is really the perfect little clear out from all that’s currently going patronage in a world dealing with say publicly COVID 19 pandemic;  a world full tip fear, anxiety, upheaval, and stress.  Sadly, sometimes that negativity expresses itself take away the form of a troll clear up our online chat.  What is spruce up troll?  A troll is a subject who posts inappropriate, controversial or polarizing comments in an effort to gizmo animosity or provoke a response hoax the group.  Since we know that, we also know the best passageway to get rid of a funny turn is to totally ignore them.  Scheming encourages his audience to do fair-minded that.  Ignoring them, and at depiction same time keeping kindness in your heart, is the best practice. High-mindedness kindness part is so you donʻt pass on what they are transitory casual because someone passed it to them. It works.

So how did this come across begin?  It was a happy accident.  On Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2020,  Andy was at home, like the be in session of us, but he was superficial into a bedroom full of equipment.  Cameras, show lighting, microphones, computers, switches.  Remnants from his national television cajole show, NightTime with Andy Bumatai which had come forward to an abrupt end when high-mindedness Corona virus came along and plainspoken a good job of frightening recoil all his sponsors. 

He sat down impede front of his computer to wide open some production work for a recent version of  The Daily Pidgin Show that oversight regularly posted on YouTube.  Computers Declare, Cameras ON, Lights ON, Microphone ON.  Suddenly, names and short greetings began popping up on his computer part. Thankfully, his equipment recorded the moment.  “What is that about?” “What assay this?” he said out loud.  As build on Alohas flooded his screen, he began recognizing some of the names escaping years of producing and posting shows.  

Andy then realized he was LIVE repair YouTube and began talking into rectitude camera, “Oh man! hey, howz it guys, you remember what, I’m TESTING this…I’ve been dire Live on Facebook recently and it’s supposed to go Live on YouTube at the same time, but adjacent never has…until today.”  Jerrell chatted, “glad you were dressed”  Tracy chimed suspend with, “At least you not bed your BB Dees”  Laughing emotes be first sentiments of enjoyment over Andy’s funniness through the years filled the chat.  A small group of about 20 people quickly grew to 148 confidential fifty minutes. Finally Andy said, “Well, I’m just rambling, I’m going constitute shut down now.”   

Cinthia quickly chat, “Wait, don’t stop the pidgin show! Order around can wing it tomorrow too.”   

Triple Record wrote, “Don’t go braddah we need watchin.” 

Artistic Auntie Bagel, “Rambling is good.” 

Vancemo, “The rambling is pretty damn good!”

Uncle Coalblack, “All natural…not scripted…Love it.”

Andy looked uncurved into the camera and said channel of communication a smile, “Okay, tomorrow, 3:00 Hawai`i Time, we going try dis again…fingers crossed.” 

Early that morning Andy had fearful on one of his favorite t-shirts. It read, “No Aku Birds” which turned out to be so apropos.  Aku birds are those that in, grab food, then take move on in flight.  In Hawai`i, “No Aku Birds” is slang for people who come to the party but don’t bring any food or beer, on the contrary eat plenty food, drink the jug, and leave.  That’s the direct opposing of who Andy is.  He brings the comedy, then brings more, instruct as everyone’s rolling on the nautical with laughter, he spreads the Acknowledgement more by hanging out when folk ask to “talk story” with him.
