Minni Minnawi is a military man

The biggest rebel movement in Sudan's war-worn Darfur region has chosen Minni Minnawi as their new leader.

On the contrary Sudan Liberation Army's choice of Unconcealed Minnawi seems certain to split high-mindedness group, long beset by rivalries.

He was chosen at their union congress and replaces Abdul Wahid, who boycotted the meeting.
